The Departments of Health and Human Services, Labor and the Treasury have finalized the
Transparency in Coverage Rule that requires group health plans to create a member-facing price
comparison tool in machine readable files. These files will include in-network negotiated payment rates
for each option covered by our group health plan and the historical out-of-network charges for covered
items and services, including prescriptions drugs. This data from Blue Cross Blue Shield of AZ (BCBSAZ)
in machine-readable files is being posted publicly starting July 1, 2022 and will be updated monthly.
